Cant believe this Bluelineking7 nub picked that bum from the matrix movies #1 overall yesterday. These two must be new to the game this year... NO WAYYY they've played together since NHL09 in the greasiest, sweatiest, most toxic 6s games the NHL series has ever witnessed.... right?
The reason I think BLK took me #1(while attempting to not sound douchey)
- He tried to trade out of #1 and take me later at 4/5/6, nobody was a willing trade partner
- 10 years history together playing competitive/e-sport level 6s together where every single player on the ice is just as elite as Dmart15 and a BLK7.
- Understands the difference in our pick-up games at 12am with all of us at rando positions and a series game we are all trying to win... which I think is where most of the hate and/or confusion is coming from. Most of you are remembering me playing a foreign hand on LW 18 bong hits deep... so I totally understand. Brick needs his dick in his hand dealing with EAs bullshit.. I need a toke... to each their own fellas/ladies.
- Among the league lead last season in points per game, assists per game, turnovers a game, fewest penalties a game while playing my off hand and worst position of the available 6. Moving to C and left hand I should have more impact.
- Most importantly theres not one person in this league (that Ive met so far) that I dont get along with and cant be in a party with. Of course like anyone theres members I think are more talented than others but I can mesh with all of 239s weird and wonderful personalities. BLK could draft and trade for anyone in the league and not worry about us getting some chemistry.
How I think the top of the draft should have went(presuming BLK doesnt fuck up at #1 and trades the pick)
1- SeeDub21 - still no Dmart at #1 but thats because Dub is best suited to play any of the 5 positions on the ice more than anyone in the pool. He can play pass heavy and carry heavy styles, will be among the league leaders again in pts and helps keep them out of the net pretty well too.
2- Dmart15 - with Bricks 2 week master plan made in dubs basement blown up in his face he takes the best RW in the league and UFC extraordinaire dmart15. Fairly universally regarded as the most potent offensive piece in da league, we return back to our own dimension and dmart goes #2
3- Pogs - do i need to?
4- xDALY - another OG to the 6s game.. agent goes with his strategy of taking best available and placing himself wherever.
5- Monstar Jay - Hes low calorie Dmart15-Lite. I dunno if not enough people scouted him or the RW only hurt his value but ya'll gonna regret letting him get on Wizzys team lol.
Looking forward to my first FT season here at 239 after leaving that LGNHL ego-fest lol. Been loving the chill vibes with friendly banter here at 239. The teams this season at first look seem to have lots of parity and should make for a good competitive season.
I really like what P4LE did in his draft.. theres no glaring weakness anywhere. To the dismay of 95% of 239 Brick got himself a real good squad as well, he figo and dub will have a good system in place that is tough to score on, with a winter soldier sleeper on LW. Wizzy's team is stacked as well.. did a great job getting value at every pick. Dmart and Swizzy is going to be a lethal combo on agents team.. if they can just manage to limit the bleeding to 1ish goal against per period they may never lose a game.
Looking forward to the season and either A) proving BLK is an idiot and getting he and I chirped all season or B) shutting ya'll down and proving my spot. Either way works for me! Hmu for some games people <3

Good day after draft all, hope everyone had a fun and exciting draft day! To the captains, congrats and good luck on the upcoming season! To the players drafted, congrats as well and hoping for your success and improving your draft stock heading into next season! For those not drafted, best of luck if you're a willing waiver when the bell rings.
Now, with that shit out of the way lets get to it... in no particular order:
LW: Ian the Berean C: Hockeyt0wn RW: Peaceful Bob LD: Magilla72 RD: xD A L Y G: MacNorth Reserve: TheeClumsyNinja
My thoughts: I do not believe this team will go win-less or win just 1 game, but I don't see this team being able to win series consistently. The best player on their team will be xDaly, a defenseman known for his great 2-way ability, he will be leaned on heavily to contribute offensively if this team wants to compete. Ian and Peaceful Bob are underrated respectfully, but both I would consider more complementary pieces to a offense, as is, they will serve as the #2/3 go to forwards. Hockeyt0wn is a fantastic 2-way player, but his strong game is in the defensive end and he will be heavily relied upon to be the go to center piece of the offense. MacNorth will at least have a solid defensive core and 2-way players in front of him, so if he can make key saves at big times they may surprise me and others.
My thoughts: A team employing the PT starting lineup strategy, Swagg and Hockey Mike look to share duties at LW. Eso will need to carry this forward core and get the most out of his wingers. Sober looks to continue his success at the RW position after a successful go at it last season. While I believe each of those players are very talented, I don't again see a true #1 offensive player. This could become a problem for them, especially against some of the more high scoring offenses in the league. To steal a line from Yam's rankings, I see a lot of "Robins" but no "Batman". DuckButter will need to, and has the talent to, play with an offensive mind from the LD spot in order to help out on the offensive end. Johnnyy Blaze will need to be the steady stay at home guy who limits mistakes. Shotgun made sure to draft a solid 2-way team, being a goalie I am not surprised (lol) he would want to concentrate on the defensive style of play, but I feel as if this team may come up just short.
LW: AmazingViper X C: Suneedee RW: Quantumtek LD: DrugmonkeyRX RD: RevHellcat/TimeToGetSteven G: Dalilaama Reserve: Shockazulu
My thoughts: I must say this team was very close to making it to the "middle tier" but I felt if nothing else they could use this as motivation. I can't say there is anything wrong with this team overall, but something to me is... lacking and/or missing. Viper at LW is a solid, not a star but a solid #3 offensive guy. On his opposite wing will come the true driving force of the offense in Quantumtek. This is a bit tricky as I could see Quantum playing center with Sunee playing LW, but for this purpose of this article he's the RW that will carry the offense if this team is to be a playoff team. Will he be capable of being the #1? Suneedee probably will man the center position for Drug's squad, a very solid player that has the talent to have games in which he will be the go to guy but fits in more realistically as the #2 option. Hellcat will pair with Drugmonkey part-time, and make up one of the more formidable defensive pairs in the league when they do. TimeToGetSteven will be the sub-in, another PT player, and is more than capable himself of filling the RD spot. Dalilaama should be fine in net, but may run into the problem of playing well but not seeing enough scoring from his own side to pick up W's. Could prove me really wrong and be a great team, the potential is there for sure... but I feel the lack of a true game changing player may come back to cost them.
