13. Swizz Wrld – Projected lineup

Looks to me on paper, lots of rookies, and the wings will have to hard carry for this team to earn W’s. I respected Scribles confidence during the pre-draft show but this league is a step up from Moose or whatever league he came from and will take time to develop chemistry with teammates. Schemm might steal some wins but I think this team will come through at the bottom.
12. Magilla – Projected lineup

Much love for Magilla as we have played together in league before but I’m not sure the draft treated him well. 4 part time players on the squad is usually hard to deal with. Based on the fwd makeup it seems like the formula for success will be to feed the one tee monster in Booty. They will need the brotherly chem between Killzone and Sapper to get going as it seems other rosters are a bit stronger than this one. Maybe some trades could be made with some talent it seems they have on their bench.
11. Raterle – Projected lineup

Similar to Swizz’s team. Seems like wing play here is going to have to hard carry. It seems Rat went out and got who he wanted up front. Unfortunately, I think he had to overpay. Zigz, an LGNHL guy took a big chunk, and Pale. I have not been in this league too long, but every season Pale is playing a different position. Defense, goalie, and now Center. Not a bad player by any means, but I think 26 was an overpay and I think it took away from Rat being able to spend on defense. Kelch is a capable Dman but should not be a #1 on any team. Jsquad, defending champion goalie went for 5. He will need to stand on his head for this team to get wins.
10. Jimmy – Projected lineup

Jimmy went out and got possibly the best C in DutchMDK. A great add no doubt at the most important position. Where I think he might have gone off the rails was spending a combined 39 bods on two PT RW’s. He may decide to use Hoots on LW for a nice game 7 lineup. But in Hoots sign up he is left-handed only, and I know he like the gold one tee. Another question mark was drafting two goalies. Maybe he thought he might be able to bargain one through trade, but it doesn’t seem to me that any team is in dire need for a G. Nevertheless, Hoots/Dutch/Wizzy may make out for a dangerous line. Maybe they will do better than I think.
9/8. These next two teams are almost identical in structure after draft night. Both captains are very talented players and their rankings could be substantially higher based on them taking players that I don’t really know.
9. Lemanski – Projected lineup

Lemanski went out and got Fdmkill right off the rip. And why wouldn’t he? The stud LD has won a few belts already and he hasn’t been here long. He’s a Dman that can push the pace and get back to defend his position very well. He is paired with Yambag, another capable defenseman, and they will run it back from their belt they earned last season. With benny in net they seem to have a good back end. Their fwd group is where my questions are. Spending all the bods on kill made it impossible for Lemanski to get his buddy A1Freak. So, my guess is Lemanski will center Melo and Sober. I don’t know their abilities myself, but I don’t believe will be making a groundbreaking impact.
8. Alprazaholic/No Regretzky’s – Projected lineup

I’m not sure the direction with all the PT players. Dom Silva. Is he worth 53 bods full time? We will find out. He is obviously a good defenseman and will be pairing with Epiik on the back end. With Renfri in net they look like they will be fine there. Mobski went for 12 bods a decent value but I don’t have too much info on him, Mecciah, Terry, or Debrincat. Alprazaholic is an absolute stud player at multiple positions and I’m sure he will be flexible with all the part time players on his team. He will need to step up with all of them if they are to succeed.
7. Master Shotgun – Projected lineup

I think MASTER Shotgun did a MASTERful job during the draft and is probably rosterBATING right now. He picked up Sejje for 47 who is a good goal scorer and we know Shotgun is going to be grinding out goals whether they are pretty or not. I like his PT LD tandem of Chenkov and Sunz paired with RD Odd Guy and stud goalie Bcripps on the back end. I think his RW slot is going to be most important. Can Terry or Icekold help enough to get these guys to the promise land? We will find out.
6. Rawb – Projected lineup

RAWB was very patient at this seasons draft. I don’t even know if he was there for the first hour and a half. I think Kin Dange had 4 or 5 players before Rawb took anyone. But I think it worked out! Based on the structure of his roster I think his lineup has him playing forward this year. Joe Shiney was top rookie of my class and is a very solid Center. This fwd line should be very good and put in plenty of goals. Based on bod values of his defense, and with a very solid tendy in St1dwallgoat, I think this team should score enough goals and keep enough out to be a good team.
5. Rocky/Hammer- Projected lineup

The PT tandem of Rocky/Hammer had a nice draft. They got the sick, slick RW Sauce, Their boy Trey they have plenty of chemistry with, and maybe the best goalie in the league of Jesus. I expect Rocky and Hammer will take over the dot which is the most important position in the game and they both are great at it. I don’t have too much information on Gannabis or Energizer but based on the team chemistry and talent alone I think they deserve to be in the top 5.
4. Kin Dange- Projected lineup

Kin Dange did not want to stay in the draft long and he did not. He was first captain done, he came in and knew what he wanted and got what I think might be the most balanced team in the league. He got Freak at 41 a great two-way center. Chum Lee is a great LW and I expect Sniper to RW. He had like 74329 points last season. Chum lee and Sniper at their respective prices were steals. Kin and Dvetts are the D pair, and my boy Call Me Skull is in net. He is a vaccuum. I do not have much more to say, they will be a tough team to beat.

Goodie has toys and I do not like it. Him and Mash are going to be lighting lamps up front and I hope it’s not going to be against me. He also has a rookie goalie tandem that I think will work out great for him between Bigmac and Crawford. I do not know See dub very well but his bod total for a part time player seems like he could be a problem. Goodie always has a well-structured team that is tough to play against. I do not see this one being any different. I am sure he will be close to a belt again.

Legion had himself a nice draft and pushed other captains to pay more and more for players they wanted. He did a great job. He also got what I think is a great team. I think he will RW with his boy Zturtle, who is one of the best centers in here for 36 which is a great price. He was aggressive in getting Matt4for4 who I hear is a very good LD. He will be paired with RD ChocoBrown who is an underrated defenseman. Freddy is also an underrated goaltender here. I think this team will be called most overrated by other opinion, but I think they will surprise a lot of people this season as my #2 team.

I give thanks to the admins who let me be captain because I think I have a reputation in here as being a shitter. I was drafted at a bod value of 1 as a rookie and went undrafted in my second season. I was picked up as a waiver. I was able to captain my third season as no one else seemed to want to. I ended up trading my entire team that I drafted in season 3 because I either felt the team did not mesh or I just did not have chemistry with them. ’24 is a brand-new game and with the league deciding to expand I was able to bring in a couple of buddies of mine, Bcbud and Dradle Jay, who will be battling for rookie of the year this season. They are both great players and guys, and I was excited to get them both with the player I probably have most chemistry with in this league in Sexy Rocko. He was an absolute steal of a pick at 12 bods. On top of that, I got Ozzy who although is part time, is another great winger for only 13 bods. A guy to look out for who I was most surprised with while playing through scouting was Weazle. I had seen him play defense before but never at goalie. He is an animal in net. Plain and simple, I think my team has the most talent on it. Whether I am on center or LD I think we should win a ton of games.
P.S. I don’t understand why the top goalie is under 15 bods.
